An attack in the city

There has been some sort of attack in Jerusalem in a road near college. We are all fine, though of course it is a little scary. It doesn't seem to have been a bomb and it's not clear if there is any link to terrorism. More news later, I guess.

Hello D!
I didn't realise you'd even landed yet, so I didn't think of you when I heard the news, but I'm glad you're okay and writing such interesting stuff there. The bread below looks well lush.
Kev and I have not managed to swim again yet, but it's work as well as laziness that's to blame.

I know you are ok so won't even ask. Just stay away from large vehicles in the future please. And donkeys. I have a bad feeling about donkeys.

Was this the museum you visited the last time you were in J'lem? www.bezalel.ac.il

If not, it looks interesting, maybe?

at the same time of this attack we had four murders in London (16 y/o stabbed in Islington, a woman stabbed in peckham and 2 french students bruttaly murdered in New cross). You might be safer where you are...

I don't mean to be too alarmist but I just heard in the news that another 16 y/o boy was stabbed to death yesterday (Thursday 3rd) in Thornton heath. The good news today is the gov decided not to cull the badgers, much to the poor farmers dismay who wanted a permit to let their anger out once in a while.
